MB Informatics is a wholly owned subsidiary of MB Holding Company LLC, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman which is primarily into Oil and Gas Up stream business & Mining, having presence in more than 20 countries. It was started by first Generation Entrepreneur Mohamed Al Barwani in the year 1982.

The group saw major growth in the period 2005-07 and undertook various expansion activities by pursuing other markets including India. It saw a potential opportunity to invest in India, to leverage talent pool of India and also expand business in India.
